She looks so sweet and innocent
The old timers warned us not to feed them when we first moved here and for a long time we didn't... but there was a drought and we started with a few cans of corn every day...then we added white bread, yes, white bread...it's cheap and they love it... But we have created a problem...they are so comfortable and unafraid of us that they come up to the house and munch on the roses...the yellow are their favorite, but they'll eat the red and even the pink ones if nothing else is blooming...I get mad, but in truth, we have never enjoyed watching the roses bloom half as much as we have loved watching the fawns grow.
