That’s right! You read it here first…Summer is over…Done…Finis…Kaput…No Mas. I’m declaring it Early Pre-season Fall…If Hobby Lobby can rush the seasons, why can’t I? Traditionally I start decorating for fall during Labor Day Weekend…September 1st…Back to School…unofficial fall. But not this year of Endless Unbearable Summer Heat! This year fall starts today! I’ve set out fall linens, surrounded a big open sided urn with pomegranates in shades of deep burgundy pink…
added sparkling pumpkins…
and deep pink velvet leaves…
Now, that’s better! I’m starting to think cooler days and maybe even a rainy night pot of soup…
I dragged out a fall centerpiece that was done by April Hiler Designs. I just love her work…she has a great Etsy shop. More pomegranates…
The kitchen got a wreath and a garland…
Out came a collection of fabric pumpkins…
Now, I’m ready for a cup of tea and a visit to Beverly for Pink Saturday. Thanks for stopping by. I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling cooler already…
Have a Pink Week.

LOL, hard to get into the autumn spirit when it's 101^ but your decorations are lovely !
Happy Pink Saturday and I do wish you an early autumn.
I hear ya!! I'm on board your End of Summer Train!!! I'm sick of it, too!
Happy Pink Sat....love your decor!!

Changing your home decor is a good way to stay cool. I'm going to give that a try - it's still so blankety blank hot here!
A very pretty fall theme and presentation.
Great fall decorations..I think I'll wait a bit longer since it still in the 80's here
I haven't figured out how to link up to pink Saturday yet but summer is not over in Lake Havasu -- we're having our hottest week of the summer and it's already 113 here today and only 2:30 -- the temps peak around 5 PM. Wish me luck!
I'm so glad you've elected to bring fall to us early this year. The summer from hell has overstayed its welcome. Hopefully I'll be able to do the same as you and at least bring fall inside while the outside sizzles away! xoxo Nancy
lovely captures....time to get in the autumn spirit in our part of the world too.
I love your pumpkin wreath! I simply love pumpkins and fall. I can't wait 'til it gets cooler and I can start makin' soups and stews...and wearing a sweater and flannel pjs. :) I'm right along with you. I may pull out my fall pretties, too!
